Their tiny house, built by Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses, cost about $120,000. It’s 10 feet wide and 32 feet long. The home has a yellow exterior with a green rooftop, giving it a beachy feel. Despite its small size, the couple didn’t compromise on comfort.
The Shrang’s tiny house runs on propane for their gas stove and instant water heater. They use a larger air conditioner than usual, keeping the house cool in summer, and a heater in winter to prevent frozen pipes. Their community of tiny houses is located in Durango, Colorado.
Inside, the couple enjoys features like a stained-glass window on the door for air circulation. The living area is spacious, with a big TV and high ceilings. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, four-burner stove, and oven. The cabinets showcase family photos and glass art collected during their travels.
The bathroom is complete with a sink, mirror, shelves, toilet, washer, dryer, and shower. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with storage space underneath.
